Pastor Rodney Saunders
Rod Saunders serves as the pastor of Apostolic Life Cathedral.
He has been actively involved in ministry for the past 13 years and comes from a family deeply rooted in ministry. He has served in several roles throughout that time, previously serving as Youth Pastor and later Assistant Pastor at Moriah Apostolic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Most recently, he served for several years on the pastoral staff at Tree of Life Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In addition to ministry, Pastor Saunders has also worked as a licensed real estate professional and general contractor, bringing practical experience and leadership to his work and ministry.
Pastor Rod serves alongside his wife, Janae. Janae is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and Indiana Bible College. She also has a heart for ministry and a background in creative ministry, including graphic design and other creative areas that support the work of the church. Together, they have two daughters, Scarlett and Amelia.
Pastor Rod and Janae have a burden for the city of Huntington, West Virginia. Their desire is to reach the city with the truth and love of God and to see lives changed by His power. Their prayer is that Apostolic Life Cathedral will continue to be a beacon of hope in an ever-darkening world. A place where people can find truth, hope, healing, and the presence of God.

Bishop E. S. Harper
Doctor Edwin S. Harper married Sharon Kay Kitchen Harper 54 years ago on August 4, 1967. They have three daughters, Dr. B. Danielle King, M.D., Holly Harper A.I.A. and Heather Dawn McKinney R.N. They have given us three grandsons. He earned a Bachelor of Theology Degree from Texas Bible College (1971), Houston and Livingston, Texas and a Doctor of Divinity degree From Universal Bible Institute (1976), Alamo, Tenn. and Atlanta, GA. Because of his extensive studies and video presentations, Saint Thomas Christian University Jacksonville, Florida presented him with an honorary Doctorate.
He is an often-published writer for the organizational magazines and colleges. A native and lifelong resident of West Virginia, except for his time as an undergraduate and 3 1/2-year tenure as a pastor in Dupo, IL, they have lived and pastored here. 10 1/2 years in Morgantown serving the Riverside Apostolic Church and the past 40 years in Huntington at Apostolic Life Cathedral. He is a past Superintendent of the West Virginia District and former Executive Presbyter of the north eastern United States and Canadian Churches of the United Pentecostal Church International.
He served 4 years as a member of West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin III office as the Director of the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity. In this adventure, he received nomination and was a finalist for the Ash Award at the Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government for Innovative Practices in Government Administration.
Greene Kitchen
Greene Kitchen was the pastor of Staunton Street Apostolic Church in Huntington, West Virginia, and the first superintendent of the West Virginia District.
